This two-day workshop aimed to establish the collaborative priorities for the AIR Centre activities from a regional Southern African and Brazilian perspective, under the guidance of the South-South Framework. The workshop covered AIR Centre Societal Benefit Areas (SBAs) such as mitigation and adaptation to climate change, marine resources and biodiversity, data science and sustainable energy systems. The outcomes will be used to guide the development of the vision for the AIR Centre scientific agenda, South African national engagement and potential H2020 calls around the Belem Agreement.
