Science and Technology Summit in Portugal

Ciência 2019 was the latest edition of the annual meeting of Portuguese Science and Technology community.
It aimed at promoting a broad debate on the main challenges driving the work of the Portuguese and European scientific community and an open and fruitful discussions on the main topics of the scientific agenda beyond the world of research. The Program which included plenary and parallel sessions, presentations, and demonstrations, was designed to stimulate the participation and interaction between researchers, private sector, and general public.
The meeting was supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, and it was organized by the Foundation for Science and Technology in collaboration with the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture – Ciência Viva, and the Parliamentary Commission of Education and Science.
United Kingdom was the invited country of Ciência 2019.
