The Atlantic Ocean in Images
An Image a day keeps the doctor away
Pico is one of the nine islands from the Azores archipelago. This photograph was taken at 2,351 meters of altitude during sunrise when the author climbed the Pico mountain, in the summer of 2020. The top of Pico mountain is the highest point of Portugal. Fortunately the weather conditions were spectacular and it was possible to contemplate this beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of Faial. Location: Google Maps.
