The AIR Centre is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the JuliaEO Global Workshop 2026, taking place from January 5–9 in a hybrid format. Hosted in Terceira Island (Azores) and accessible online, the workshop is designed to strengthen programming skills for professionals working in Earth Observation.

Participants will explore key topics such as data acquisition, processing, visualization, and classification using the Julia programming language. The program combines theory-based sessions with hands-on activities, including the use of datasets, libraries, automated workflows, AI tools, and classification algorithms.

While in-person attendance is encouraged to foster collaboration, remote participants can join live sessions and engage via text chat. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with the global EO community and advance technical expertise in a fast-evolving field.
