The 2nd Edition of the Atlantic Aquaculture Forum 2025 will take place in the end of the year in Azores bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs and stakeholders.
Miguel Miranda, Executive Director of the AIR Centre, emphasized the positive reaction of the participants regarding the inaugural edition of this Forum, which aims to gather a diverse range of experts, researchers, investors and enterprise along with the aquaculture specialists of Atlantic countries like Senegal, Angola and Cabo Verde. Miguel Miranda also highlighted the importance of this Forum to join people and resources and the need to promote an inclusive development in the Atlantic region, which aims to create opportunities for population and business sector.
Romão Braz, Vice-President of Administration Council of Finançor, highlights the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in Aquaculture in Azores for the sustainable development of the sector.
The Atlantic Aquaculture Forum could play a crucial role in the development of the blue economy in the maritime area of the Azores, creating concrete and practical actions and investments that could benefit the population.
