The AIR Centre presented a research at the 2025 International Ocean Colour Science Meeting, held in Darmstadt, Germany in December 1-4, exploring how satellite observations can monitor zooplankton distributions in the North Atlantic.

AIR Centre and INESC P&D Brasil extend partnership to 2030
The AIR Centre and INESC P&D Brasil (Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Research and Development of Brazil) have extended their collaborative agreement for five additional years, through July 2, 2030.

Workshop strengthens scientific collaboration for sustainable fisheries in Angola
On October 20-24, a team from the AIR Centre met with researchers from the National Institute of Fisheries and Marine Research (INIPM) and the University of the Azores, in Luanda, Angola, to prepare a scientific report supporting the recommendation of Total Allowable Catches (TAC) for small pelagic fish stocks for 2026.
