Cross-regional Atlantic cooperation strengthened at The 14th Atlantic Dialogues
AIR Centre’s Executive Director Miguel Miranda participated in the 14th edition of The Atlantic Dialogues, held December 11–13, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco. Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI by the Policy Center for the New South, the annual high-level international conference brought together influential public and private sector leaders from around the Atlantic Basin.
The Atlantic Dialogues serves as a premier platform for open and informal discussions on cross-regional and cross-sectoral issues affecting the Atlantic space. The conference has established itself as a cornerstone for debate that rebalances the South-North dialogue, emphasizing the importance of the South Atlantic in global geopolitical discussions and building bridges between Africa, South America, Europe, and North America.
Through plenary panels, breakout sessions, and interactive discussions, the conference fostered concrete dialogue leading to actionable outcomes. Participants engaged with a network of leaders developing new perspectives on Atlantic partnerships, challenges, and opportunities across the four continents of the Atlantic Basin.
The AIR Centre’s participation in The Atlantic Dialogues reinforces its commitment to fostering international collaboration and dialogue on issues critical to the Atlantic region, contributing to the broader vision of the “Wider Atlantic” and strengthening connections between diverse Atlantic communities.
