As part of the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters, tackling pollution in marine and freshwater environments is critical to protecting ecosystems, safeguarding public health, and enabling sustainable development. Yet many public entities still face challenges in moving from successful pilot initiatives to large-scale implementation and measurable impact.

This webinar is part of the From Demo to Impact series, that offers a platform for public entities, demonstration sites, solution providers, and regional actors involved in ecosystem restoration to share their experiences. Participants will explore how cascade funding from Horizon Europe projects has helped address specific pollution challenges. The session will showcase real collaboration examples from European sea basins, illustrating how cascade funding has enabled and supported partnerships between public entities and stakeholders, fostered community engagement, and scaled up restoration efforts. Open calls for funding will also be announced.
