Salvador Landeros Ayala
Member of the AD AIR Centre Board of Directors (Mexico)
He received the degree of Mechanical-Electrical Engineer from UNAM, the Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and a PhD in Telecommunications, also from UNAM. He has been a university professor for more than 40 years and has held important management positions in academia and in the telecommunications and space industry, both in the public and private sectors. He has many publications in national and international journals and conferences and is co-author of three books. He is speaker at many companies and universities in various parts of the world. He has been president of several engineering organizations. He has received several awards, including the AIUME Award for Professional Excellence, the National Engineering Award in Mexico and the Pan-American Order of Professional Merit. He also received the Distinguished Service Award from the International Astronautical Federation in Paris, France. For 5 years he was Director General of the Mexican Space Agency. Currently he is a full-time professor at UNAM.
